Explore the Cameron Highlands

This fascinating tour covers all the highlights of the highlands. Begin by cruising through the green carpets of Boh Tea Estate — the pioneer of the tea growers in Malaysia. Founded in 1929 by John Archibald Russell, from Scotland, this vast plantation is still owned and managed by the family today.

After the guided tour of the fields and the factory, enjoy a refreshing break to sample various different types of tea surrounded by the beautiful landscape.

The next visit will be to the main revenue earner of the Cameron Highlands — the flower and vegetable farming. Here, you can not only see the various types of flowers and vegetables but also the methods used by the industrious local farming community.

From the farms, you will proceed to the villages of the aboriginal highland natives — the Orang Asli. At the village your guide will try to arrange for you to meet the 'Batin' (village head) before moving on to explore more of the surrounding area through the forests of the highlands.

A short trek will lead you to a small waterfall where you can have a short dip and break for lunch. The return journey will take you to a day market where most of the local produce can be found.
